Dubai offers a wide range of activities - sporting, entertainment and cultural. Over the next couple of years this will dramatically increase as a number of major theme parks open including Universal Dubailand, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove.

Dubai is also firmly stamping it's mark on the international sporting scene with the World's richest horse race, the Dubai World Cup and a number of championship golf courses designed by legends in the golfing world including Jack Nicklaus.

If you like participation sports then there is plenty to choose from including every conceivable water sport, off road driving and sand boarding (like snowboarding but on sand dunes!!). If you want to ski, you can even do that in a custom built indoor ski dome.

And of course a trip to Dubai would not be complete without shopping, either in the famous Dubai Airport Duty Free Shops, the new malls like the Mall of the Emirates or one of the traditional souks (markets).
