Across the Creek on the north side is Deira, the old town and business/commercial district where you will find the gold and spice souks. There is accommodation to suit all budgets in Deira, though being closer to the airport it is also more popular with business travellers. Though Deira has plenty of character, some areas are a bit run down. |
