UK visitors

United Kingdom residents with the right to abide in the UK (must read British Citizen in the passport) can obtain a free 60 day Visit Visa on arrival at Dubai airport as long as they have a return ticket and at least three months remaining in their passport.

The visa is stamped in your passport typically for 30 days but is actually valid for 60 days. It can be renewed for a further 30 days (only) at a cost of Dhs. 500.

Holders of the British Overseas Citizens Passport, who do not have the right to abide in the UK will need to apply for a normal Visit Visa.

A Multiple Entry Visa is useful for people who are making repeated trips to Dubai, such as on business. It is valid for 6 months at up to 30 days at a time and costs Dhs. 1,000. To obtain one, you must enter Dubai on a normal Visit visa and apply for it in Dubai.
